Signalen is also available through two apps: Zo Gemeld and Zo Hersteld. The names show what the apps are for. Zo Gemeld is for residents of municipalities who want to make a report. Zo Hersteld is used by municipalities. In this app, handlers can easily handle reports on phones and tablets. Both apps are available in the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.

Zo Gemeld is there for residents of municipalities who want to make a report. Reporting is done in four steps:

1. A description of the report, possibly with pictures
2. The location and relevant questions about the notification
3. Contact information (this is not required for reporters, but helpful in handling)
4. Check and send

The app remembers the reporter's contact information so they can quickly make another report next time.

Zo Hersteld is for municipal employees who handle reports. Handlers view reports on the map or in a list. They can select reports to create a route and go out with their maps app of choice.

In Zo Hersteld, you can sort and filter reports according to your own preferences, such as:

- Most recent notifications
- Status of notifications
- Notifications on own name

Handlers easily take on-the-go notes and photos, which they can add to the notification.
